Hunting

This region offers great bear, moose, ruffed-grouse, rabbit and white-tail deer hunting. Ask us about local guides. Check out the Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife homepage for hunting regulations and licensing.

Snowmobiling

Take a short spur trail from our cabin door to ITS 87 and have access to the entire State of Maine and parts of Canada. The Maine Interconnected Trail System (ITS) is one of the best in the nation. Small lakes and streams surround us. Whether fishing from a boat, fly fishing or casting from the shore, there is a great fishing spot for you!

Kayaking, Canoeing and Boating

Wyman Lake offers boating recreation to the experienced and novice alike. Ask us about companies that offer kayaking lessons or visit http://www.ForksArea.com for a list. We are located ¼ of a mile from a boat landing with a dock and picnic area. Watch for the loons and bald eagles that nest in this area.

Hiking

Whether hiking the Appalachian Trail or out for a day hike, the Upper Kennebec Valley Region has the perfect hiking opportunity for you.
